Description An account of the resource This authoritative study, first published in Polish as Komunistyczna Partia Zachodniej Ukrainy, 1919–1929 (Cracow, 1976), examines the development of the Communist Party of Western Ukraine from its inception in 1919 until 1929, when a major split occured in its ranks over the issue of Stalin's emerging dictatorship.
